Thank you so much for your generous gift.
Because of you, animals who’ve been forgotten, abandoned, or mistreated will find safety, care, and love at Little Oak Sanctuary. Your support helps us provide hay to hungry bellies, vet care to those in need, and warm, dry shelter through the bitter cold of winter. Every dollar brings us closer to a kinder world. From all of us—human and non-human alike—thank you for being part of this work. You make everything we do possible.

This is Iris. She was born into the dairy industry—and was never meant to live.
Like hundreds of thousands of bobby calves each year in Australia, Iris was separated from her mother within days of birth. While most people know that male calves are considered “waste” in the dairy industry, many don’t realise that up to a quarter of female calves also meet the same fate—discarded simply because they’re surplus to requirement.
Iris was one of those calves.
She spent her first weeks of life chained to a hutch, isolated and alone—until she was rescued and brought to Little Oak. Now, for the first time, she’s experiencing what it feels like to be free. To run. To play. To feel the sun on her back and a friend by her side.
That friend is Hazel—a blind Jersey calf we recently welcomed to the sanctuary. Hazel needed a companion her own age to help her feel safe and supported in a world she can’t see. Iris stepped into that role with joy, and the two are now inseparable.
Your donation has helped make this future possible for Iris, Hazel, and so many others.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.
