Visiting Little Oak Sanctuary

Guided tours run only on the dates listed below. Our tour season runs from September through May, with a shutdown over Christmas and New Year's.

Things to note:

1. The dates listed below represent all available tours for 2024. If a date is not listed, we have other commitments to attend to and, sadly, cannot accommodate a tour at that time.

2. Our tours run for one hour and are guided by sanctuary Co-Founder and Manager Kate.

3. The animals at the sanctuary are our priority and our tours are set up with small groups to ensure the animals feel safe and aren't overwhelmed.

4. Each rescued animal is an individual with a story that we will share on our tour. Just like us, some animals are shy, some are outgoing, and some are timid around people they do not know. We ask that guests be aware of this and respect the choice of any animal to move away from an interaction at any time.

5. We do not use food on our tours as the animals in our care depend on us, and we do not want them to feel pressured to interact to receive food. Any interactions are the choice of our animal residents.

6. Children are very welcome on our tours, but we ask that parents/guardians watch them closely. We are a working farm sanctuary with machinery, and running children may frighten the animals.

7. If we need to cancel our event at short notice (due to extreme weather or an animal emergency), we will offer a refund or transfer you to another suitable tour date.

8. We are located approximately an hour from Canberra, Goulburn & Batemans Bay, and around two and a half hours from Sydney.
