About the Event
Join us for a relaxing winter afternoon at Little Oak Sanctuary, surrounded by rescued farmed animals, good music, and delicious plant-based food and wine.
Sanctuary co-founders Kate and James will begin the afternoon with a warm welcome and a short introduction to Little Oak — how it began, and the purpose that drives everything we do.
After that, we’ll head off on a guided walking tour of the sanctuary. You’ll meet some of our residents and hear their stories — from sheep and goats to pigs, chickens, turkeys, horses, and more. It’s a chance to see the sanctuary up close and learn about the lives of animals often overlooked.
When the tour wraps up, it's time to get cosy. Settle in around our Winter Solstice Bonfire with a glass of vegan wine, enjoy live jazz and share a generous spread of artisan vegan cheeses and vegan pizzas with fellow guests.…
