I Love Lambs Kids Workshop

Does your child love Lambs, Sheep and Alpacas? Do they want to learn more about them, what they love and how to be kind to them? 

Then join us for our I Love Lambs kids workshop! Framed around empathy, this inspiring, interactive workshop aimed at 7-12-year-olds will teach kids what's important to sheep, lambs and alpacas and how to make a better world for them!

After a welcome to the sanctuary from sanctuary co-founders Kate & James, kids will learn some fun facts about sheep, before heading out to meet some of the sanctuary's 40 sheep and lamb and 17 Alpaca residents. We'll also feed the sheep some wheat biscuits, and if we have any lambs in care at the time, we can feed the lambs too.  Kids will learn about feeding lambs and sheep and what they can and can't eat.

When we return from our tour, we'll put what we've learnt into action, with some hands-on lamb-themed crafts that will make kids think.  Kids will be awarded a kindness to lambs certificate for completing the workshop, before we finish with a veggie sausage sizzle lunch, ensuring full hearts, minds, and bellies.

Group size: 10 Kids 

Parents can choose to stay (please purchase $10 adult ticket) or drop your kids off and go visit Braidwood, a local township around 15-20 minutes from the sanctuary.

The event is contingent on weather and if we need to cancel we will refund all tickets if we cannot reschedule the event at a suitable time for each guest.

Please wear sturdy shoes (gum boots if possible), a warm jacket and bring a hat, sunscreen and water!
