Animal Guardians Foundation is a private Australian charitable foundation. Through its grants, Animal Guardians Foundation seeks to encourage and support eligible Australian charitable organisations whose work and programs aim to respond to any of the following five areas:

  • The advancement and enhancement of animal welfare outcomes

  • The promotion of animal rights and animal welfare

  • The promotion of animal conservation and protection

  • Benefiting the community through the provision of information, education awareness programs and research projects to promote and encourage a greater level of compassion, understanding and respect for all animals 

  • Improving the nature of interactions between humans and animals

The wonderful Animal Guardians Foundation have been integral to Little Oak Sanctuary's work.  Through several grants, we have been able to improve our infrastructure with several new shelters, water tanks, stables and the fit out of our visitors centre, the Sharing Shed.

LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, as you know and love today, was first started in 1995 in Poole, England before making their way down under in 1997. LUSH was founded by Liz Weir, Mark Constantine, Mo Constantine, Rowena Bird and Helen Ambrosen. Each bringing their own unique and incredible talents to the business.  LUSH have been a tremendous supporter of Little Oak, and through their Charity Pot program have supported the construction of our Sharing Shed, used for our open days, educational sessions and for our volunteers, and a ramp and deck to increase accessibility for all.

Sweet Bones is a Vegan Cafe/Bakery in Braddon, Canberra, Australia. Owners Emily and Russell Brindley have a passion in no frills whole foods.  The Cafe has a Rustic, Rock and Roll feeling with a friendly local vibe.  The food is inventive, cruelty free, and most of all delicious.  The dishes are inspired by years of travel and good old home cooking.  Emily, Russell and the Sweet Bones team have been incredible supporters of Little Oak for many years, through providing amazing food for our open days, cakes for our sanctuary anniversaries, fundraisers and having a tap point donation device in store.  Sweet Bones is a must-visit destination in Canberra, once you've visited you'll see why!

The dream behind Lord of the Fries began over late night snack excursions early in 2004. Mandy (Toronto) and Mark (Melbourne) met while living in Taiwan (Tainan). Their love for fries drew them closer, and their disdain for nasty frozen chemical fries inspired them to create the perfect fry.  Lord of the Fries has began their journey of bringing incredible plant based food, fast to the streets of Melbourne that year, now they're an International sensation with stores in Melbourne, Sydney,  QLD, WA, South Australia and New Zealand! Lord of the Fries supports Little Oak by having our tap-point donation devices in all of their NSW stores! Drop in to a store next time you're in Sydney, you wont be sorry you did!

Voiceless is the home of animal protection and animal law education. Today's youth will be tomorrow's change-makers. Voiceless works to educate and inspire a new generation to think critically and make positive changes for animals.  The Voiceless institute have funded several of our major advocacy campaigns, including our first bus campaign in 2014, Moving Connections, and also a television commercial that aired across three channels of the 9 network for 6 months, Airtime for Animals.

Signomatic is an innovative sign maker with the goal of offering the customer as wide a range as possible without sacrificing simplicity, price and fast delivery.
